During last week, the members of CAT went to the village again to teach them english. This time, we taught them more vocabularies of the objects around them. But this time we taught them through a treasure hunt. We hid all the objects, then when we shout out the name of a object, they have to go find it. I think last week was a very productive lesson. They managed to remember vocabularies we taught them last class as well as the ones this class.
Today, we had a meeting. During this meeting, we were introduced to our new supervisor, Ms. Helen! She is experienced with many community and services and our team look forwards to working with her! We also discussed what we should do about the mothers of the village, since our main misson is to help empower them by teaching them the skills of crafting, and with the skills, they would make bags and other accessories which we will sell and give the money to them.
